In our efforts to stay current with emerging technology, we are adding a new tool to our information arsenal. In conjunction with Nixle, a free community information service for authorized government agencies, the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office will communicate time-sensitive, geographically-targeted information to anyone who signs-up for this service.

Residents signing-up will be able to choose what types of alerts and how they want the alerts sent to them -- either by e-mail or text (subscribers who do not have a text messaging plan will be charged standard text-messaging rates from their cell phone provider).
